ATTRACTIONS

The Red Lion Inn is only a short scenic drive to many of our mountainous attractions.

• Brevard Music Center: “The summer cultural center of the South” featuring world famous guest stars. “Festival of the Arts” is the first week in July through the middle of August (13 miles)
• Flat Rock Playhouse: North Carolina State Theatre. Beginning third week in June through August (40 miles).
• Pisgah National Forest: 5 miles to access road to the Blue Ridge Parkway.
• Looking Glass Falls, Sliding Rock, Shining Rock and Cold Mountain: Approximately 20 miles.
• Cashiers: Nature’s design for enjoyment. Only 21 miles.
• Highlands: Nature Center and Botanical Gardens, 36 miles.
• Asheville: Center of WNC tourism (40 miles)
• Greenville-Spartanburg, SC Aiport : Only 1 hour drive
• Asheville Airport: 45 minute drive
